Welcome to the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum's Web Site. The Museum preserves and interprets the colorful heritage of the Commonwealth's prosperous lumber era when white pine and hemlock were the wealth of the nation. |
Take a tour of the grounds where a 1912 Shay-geared logging locomotive, Barnhart Log Loader, Brookville locomotive and restored CCC Cabin are on display. Experience the rugged lifestyle of the woodhicks in our re-created logging camp. Watch our sawmill turn logs into lumber by joining us during the thirty seventh annual Bark Peelers' Convention on July 2 & 3, 2011. The Heritage Days Antique and Collectables Show and Sale Fall is Saturday October 8 and Sunday October 9, 2011 at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum from 10:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. There will be door prizes, great food, plenty of parking and lots of great antiques and collectibles.
